Sergio Bernal is considered oneof the most influential dancers of his generation at the national and international stage, due to his passion, technique and great talent.
Critics in London, Miami, New York, Moscow, Rome, Tokyo, Madrid, etc. write that he has his own light, a special aura and a unique magnetism.
He dances in the most important Galas and stages of the world such as: “Gala Ave Maya” in tribute to Maya Plisetskaya in London; Gala at the Moscow Kremlin Palace; New York City Center y en el Bunka Kaikan Opera House de Tokio con el Ballet Nacional de España; 70 aniversario del English National Ballet de Londres y Apollo de Balanchine en el Teatro Real de Madrid, confirman la gran trayectoria internacional de Sergio.
He has received the Positano “Leonide Massine” Award, the FORBESAward as one of the most influential figures in the art world in Spain and was nominated in the category‘Best Classical Performance’ for “The Swan” at the National Dance Awards in the United Kingdom.
He is the recipient of many awards, just in 2021 he has received the TAOBUK AWARDS in Taormina, Italy, and a recognitionto his career at the “Gala of Dance Stars of the World” in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
In 2019 he was appointed UK Ambassador for the Arts.
